PaRappa The Rapper Wiki

The PaRappa the Rapper franchise has had a lot of merchandise, especially around the time of the animation (as it was solely created to promote PaRappa related products). Nowadays most, if not all PaRappa related merchandise, due to Japan exclusivity and age, is considered rare and is thus hard to come by unless you are willing to pay a high price.

Please note, this page doesn't cover all of the merch yet, so feel free to add more info as long as there's proof the merch exists. Thank you.

Arcade System[]

Main article: Um Jammer Lammy NOW!

Um Jammer Lammy NOW! was an arcade cabinet developed and released in 1999 with the help of Namco that allowed players to play Um Jammer Lammy alone or together in cooperative or versus mode using controllers designed as guitars.

It features higher graphics, new difficulty levels, additional cutscenes and 1 additional song, being PaRappa's version of Stage 1: I Am A Master And You! that was originally only included in the files of Um Jammer Lammy before being used for the arcade cabinet.

"Rock your way to the top of the pops with UM JAMMER LAMMY. From the mind of Rodney Greenblatt the brilliant designer of PARAPPA THE RAPPA comes this cartoon-inspired musical competition starring Lammy, the stylish and clever lamb guitarist for the band Milkcan.

This 2-player arcade cabinet converts the PlayStation title into an arcade experience with a set of realistic guitar controllers. The game features three difficulty levels, three playable characters, and three game modes (Solo, Team and Battle)."[1] -IGN description
